Design of Multi-channel LED Boost Driver Adjustable to External Light

초록

A Multi channel Boost Converter LED driver which can stimulated by external environment suitable for vehicle is proposed. Unnecessary total current consumption of existing device is improved by using VCO and frequency divider to generate different total current by number of on channels. The circuit controls number of LED channels automatically using external light sensor to sense light level. This circuit are implemented using Dongbu 0.35um BCDMOS process. Constant output Voltage is 27.3V and total current is 1.2A when four LED channels on status, 300mA when one LED channel on status. The Efficiency of Boost LED Driver circuit is 89.2 ~ 93.6%.
