Quantum theoretical analysis of the interaction of atoms and evanescent wave

초록

We show that it is possible for the atom to absorb and emit the evanescent photon because that the interaction Hamiltonian depends only on the electric field and dipole moment of atom. The photon absorption rate and the emission rate of the spontaneous and the stimulated photons are calculated.
