Visualization of defect and tensile behavior in extrusion additive manufacturing using infrared thermography
초록
3D printing technology is now widely used for the rapid and fast production of 3D objects directly using digital computer aided design (CAD) from designer’s idea. Many different methods of 3D printing - stereo lithography (SLA), inkjet printing, selective laser sintering (SLS), fused deposition modeling (FDM) and laminated object manufacturing (LOM) has been developed and suggested [1], but FDM is the most cheap, widely used and easy modification for many applications. But the one of critical issue of 3D printing technology is thermal problems, compared to conventional manufacturing methods, which stem from the time difference during the printing process.
