Optical Characteristics of Improved Chevron Hybrid Alignment Nematic by Fringing Field Switching switching

In this paper, to decrease the disclination region, we modified the pixel electrode that has vertical section at the middle of the cell. When 5V and 0V was assign to the pixel and common electrode,respectively, figure I show the transmissin of HAN-FFS, that is, chevron and improved chevron HAN-FFS, because of horizontal electric field and elastic energy of neighboring directors at the middle of the modified that of improved and conventional HAN-FFS.
