초록

Use of electrical and electronic systems and information technology equipment has increased significantly. However, the abnormal voltage and lightning surge are incident through various routes and a great of economic losses is caused. the proper selections of SPDs associated with energy coordination and protection distance are very important in order to effectively protect the electrical and electronic equipment. In this paper, energy coordination between MOV-based SPDs connected to the 10/350 μs current waveform was simulated by using EMTP program.
