Investigation on the Optical Properties of Phosphorescence Organic Light Emitting Diode

A numerical study on the electronic-optical properties of the phosphorescence organic light emitting diodes (PHOLEDs) devices is presented. In order to calculate the electrical and optical properties such as the transport of charge, recombination kinetics, and emission property, the finite element method (FEM) is applied to numerical analysis in PHOLEDs. Our model includes Poisson’s equation, continuity equation to account for behavior of electrons and holes and the exciton continuity/transfer equation to account for generation and decay of the exciton.
