Iterative Multiuser Receivers for Space-Time Block Coded CDMA Systems

We investigate the multiuser receivers for CDMA systems with the combination of channel coding and space-time block coding, where turbo coding is employed in channel encoder. The multiuser receivers consist of multiuser interference suppression and single-user space-time decoding. The multiuser detection methods are employed to suppress multiuser interference, and then the multiuser system is approximately reduced to a single-user system. Thus, the single-user space-time decoding can be used to recover the information bits. Finally, the performance of the multiuser receivers is analyzed based on the numerical results.
