초록
To improve the wide area of laser processing the pyramid polygon mirror device was desigened and manufactured, which was able to adjust the amplitude and frequency. It consists of rotating pyramid polygon mirror made of copper and converts the spot laser beam into the line shpaed beam. The line shaped beam has the advantage of absorption by high repetition rate. This device is able to increase the efficiency of laser materials processing. such as heat treatment, cladding and cutting. The quenching heat treatment was processed on low carbon steel with high power laser and the laser cutting of glasses was carried out with low power. The hardened width was obtained up tp 17 mm by single scanning of laser beam. Under optical conditions the laser cutting of glasses was obtianed without surface damage.
