Metal ion doped TiO2 powders as a photocatalyst were prepared by sol-gel process using titanium isopropoxide as a Ti precursor. Ga and Co were introduced as dopants, and the photocatalytic behaviors of the doped TiO2 powders were investigated as a function of doing level and preparation conditions. XRD, BET, and SEM were employed for microstructural studies.
