The complete mitochondrial genome of the Japanese fan lobster Ibacus ciliatus (Crustacea, Achelata, Scyllaridae)
초록
Abstract: Slipper lobsters are a member of unique decapod crustaceans with cylindrical or flattened bodies, belonging to the family Scyllaridae. The genus Ibacus Leach, 1815 (Decapoda, Achelata, Scyllaridae) consists of currently 8 recognized species, and is commercially important species as a sea food, all of which occurs in the Indo-West Pacific Ocean. The complete mitochondrial genome of the Japanese fan lobster Ibacus ciliatus (Von Siebold, 1824) has 15,696 bp consisting of 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNAs, 2 ribosomal RNAs, and a control region of 783 bp. The base composition of I. ciliatus is 35.8 % A, 34.7 % T, 19.0 % C, 10.5 % G, and the overall AT content with 70.5 %. The mitogenome of I. ciliatus was identical to the typical gene arrangement and transcriptional polarity of the American lobster Homarus americanus mitogenome, showing the pancrustacean ground pattern. We here present the complete mitogenome sequence for I. ciliatus, first in the subfamily Ibacinae, and second in the family Scyllaridae.
