Fabrication and Mechanical Properties of TiAl-Mn Intermetallics by Vaccum Hot Pressing

초록

TiAl-Mn intermetallic compounds were fabricated from elemental powder mixture by the reactive sintering method using a Vaccum Hot Press equipment. High dense TiAl-Mn intermetallic compounds were obtained at optimum Hot press condition. Also, the desired microstructure and good mechanical properties could be obtained by controlling sintering condition, such as temperature, holding time and pressure.
