Numerical Analysis of Three-Dimensional Viscous Flow Through The Mixed Flow Fan

초록

A numerical study based on the three-dimensional thin-layer Navier-Stokes solver analyzes the flow field through a mixed flow fan. Explicit four-step Runge-Kutta scheme along with spatially variable time step and implicit residual smoothing was used the governing equations are discretized with explicit finite difference method. Baldwin-Lomax model is used for the turbulent model. Inlet and outlet part is used to H-type and C-type grid respectively. Flow characteristics for flow field in mixed flow fan are analyzed and the differences between axial flow fan and centrifugal fan are commented
