초록

This paper proposes an efficient digital twin solution for real-time visualization. The bounding volume hierarchy (BVH) has been used to manage high-resolution 3D objects in dynamic environments and optimize the rendering operations. The proposed digital twin solution excels in handling dynamic objects, while the BVH has been updated dynamically to adapt to changes in object positions and orientations, ensuring that the digital twin is not burdened by frequent updates or object management. The proposed method exhibits a minimum improvement of over 20% compared to existing approaches in the experiments, with a further enhancement observed as the number of dynamic objects increase. This addresses any issues in the rendering performance of traditional digital twins and offers the potential to optimize server rendering capabilities and reduce GPU usage in the cloud, culminating in cost savings. The digital twin solution promises significant improvements in rendering efficiency that apply to various visualization and simulation sectors, such as virtual reality, gaming, architecture, and manufacturing. In relation, this method is expected to contribute to the advances of future digital twin solutions.
