Usefulness of 13C-methacetin breath test as noninvasive parameter for predicting liver cirrhosis in chronic liver disease

초록

13C-methacetin breath test (13C-MBT) has been proposed reliable and accurate method to assess hepatic fibrosis and cirrhosis in chronic hepatitis C. The aim of this study evaluated noninvasive diagnostic tool for liver cirrhosis through comparing the 13C-methacetin breath test by using BreathID® with the simple biochemical parameters as APRI, AAR in patients with different chronic liver disease.
