Performance Verification of Broadcast-RTK technology in Kinematic Positioning

초록

Precision positioning technology using RTK GNSS is widely used in various fields and is actively used in autonomous driving research. Broadcast-RTK technique collects correction signals from reference stations installed nationwide and provides RTK correction signals across the country in one direction through a broadcasting network, so it can provide RTK correction signals to a large number of unspecified vehicles without worrying about network costs and traffic. In this paper, we compare the performance of Broadcast-RTK techniques with network RTK techniques such as VRS and FKP in various vehicle driving environments such as highways, urban environments, and suburban environments. For performance analysis, moving positioning data was collected while driving on major highways and general roads nationwide, and positioning precision and convergence time were analyzed for each RTK method.
