Bonding and Bending Properties of 22MnB5 Steel and Al7075 Composites Prepared by Laser

초록

Al7075 alloy is widely used as structural materials for automobile and aircraft components owing to superior specific strength. Recently, boron added steel for hot stamping with high strength has been popular because addition of boron into low carbon steel makes its hardenability improve. However, it is not easy to weld these dissimilar materials using commercial welding method because of a large difference of melting temperature, resulting in a formation of brittle intermetallic compound.
